Using your aftercare
We make clean, Australian-made tattoo aftercare that does the job without the fillers or harsh fragrance. Three products, one simple routine, built to keep fresh ink clean and settled and your older work looking sharp. Made by people who actually get tattooed.
It's a simple three-step routine. Start with Line Work Gentle Wash to clean fresh ink two to three times a day. Follow with Stand Fast Aftercare Cream through the first couple of weeks to keep the skin soothed and hydrated while it settles. Once the peeling is done, switch to Hold Fast Tattoo Balm to nourish the skin and keep your colour looking rich long term. Wash, settle, protect. That's the whole thing.
Follow your artist's advice first, since they know your tattoo. As a general rule, once you've taken the wrap off you can start gently cleaning with Line Work Gentle Wash and applying a thin layer of Stand Fast Aftercare Cream. Keep it light and consistent from there.
Two to three times a day for the first couple of weeks, or any time the tattoo feels tight or dry. Thin layers, kept up consistently. Once it's through the peeling stage, move to Hold Fast Tattoo Balm. Looking after a tattoo doesn't stop at week three. The better you keep it moisturised, the sharper it stays for years.
Absolutely. Hold Fast Tattoo Balm is made for exactly that. Older ink that's kept nourished and protected holds its colour and stays sharp. Ink that's left to dry out goes flat. A bit of balm now and then keeps your older work looking its best.

Cruelty-free, yes. We never test on animals and we don't work with anyone who does. Vegan, no. Some of our products contain beeswax, so we won't call ourselves vegan when we're not. If you're vegan, have a look at the ingredients on each product before you buy.
We keep our formulas clean and fragrance-free, which suits most people well. That said, everyone's skin is different. If you know you react to things, check the full ingredients list first and do a small patch test before applying it over a fresh tattoo.
Stand Fast Aftercare Cream does a similar early-aftercare job, but it's made specifically for tattoos. It's lightweight and sinks straight in rather than sitting heavy on the skin, and it keeps fresh ink soothed and hydrated without the thick, greasy feel.
