How to use

i.

Clean First

If a new tattoo, wash the area with Line Work Gentle Wash. Pat dry with a clean towel. Wait until skin is fully dry before applying balm.

ii.

Apply

One pump for small work, two for sleeves. Smooth a thin layer across the tattoo. Should absorb within a minute —-if it's still sitting white, you've used too much.

iii.

Repeat daily

Morning and night through the healing weeks. Drop to once daily through the first month after. Then hand it off to Hold Fast for the long haul.

Glycerin

Humectant powerhouse. Draws moisture into healing skin and keeps it there through the worst of the heal.

Once your tattoo is past the initial wound stage - usually 24 to 48 hours after the chair, once your artist's wrap has come off and you've washed the area with Line Work. Apply twice daily through the healing weeks. Most tattoos finish healing within 3 to 4 weeks.
Stand Fast is fragrance-free, alcohol-free, and formulated specifically for healing tattooed skin - the two biggest causes of stinging are gone from the formula. A brief tingle on very fresh ink can happen; that's the skin, not the cream. If it stings for more than a few seconds, your tattoo isn't quite ready for daily cream yet - wait another day.
Stand Fast is the lighter daily cream for during healing - it absorbs fast, settles the itch, and feeds the skin while it repairs. Hold Fast is the concentrated balm for after healing - it locks in colour and protects healed work for the long haul. Most collectors use both - Stand Fast through the heal, Hold Fast for everything that comes after.
Stand Fast is fragrance-free and made without parabens, petroleum, mineral oil, or filler - the most common irritants in skincare. It's tested across skin types. If you have a known reaction to glycerin, shea butter, or witch hazel, check the full ingredient list before buying.
